Miss Lilley's Wedding

Wow what a fabulous holiday we had. We had an amazing time in Rarotonga and had a lovely wedding. The day was perfect. We got married on Aroa Beach, on the gorgeous white sand over looking the beautiful blue sea.

Tui came along with us and as you can see he was there for the wedding.

We planted an 'uto' coconut tree which we will be able to go back and visit next time we go to Rarotonga. We had to find a rock and paint it to place in front of our tree.

Lets Play

We all love playing games with our friends and sometimes by ourselves. When I was 10 I loved playing knuckle bones, elastics and chatter rings. All of these games were great games to play with my friends.

Over at Sophies House

Tui came over to my house on Friday.

Tui & I were so excited!

First, I brought Tui to one of our tree that sometimes have other tuis on it. Tui played with the tuis all evening! Singing & chatting! Tui is having so much fun! Then Tui decided to play with my rabbit-Snowy, and of course! Snowy kept on giving tui piggy-backs! Then it was time to go inside, I played Sumdog with Tui! Next we did some maths & then homework. Then we got to bed. Tui is really tired! He should get some rest. Tui fell asleep right away!

On Sunday, Ellie, my friend came over, she had bought her toy Robin, Tui had great time with her new friend, Robin, On Sunday morning is ... MOTHER’S DAY! We got to church early, there is a blueberry bush outside the church, Tui is busily pecking at the delicious blueberries! After that, we had lunch. Esther & I have been playing with Tui! Esther thinks Tui is gorgeous! Mostly, she loved the sound Tui made. But later on, we had to go, when we reached home, we watched Ice Age 3. Then Tui helped me doing homework! We read for a while, next we were doing our English-A workbook. Then we played a little bit of sumdog, Tui loved to playing sumdog, what fun we had!

I had the most greatest time with Tui!

On Monday morning, Tui is back to his precious home to see it's lovely Room 12! Of course, Tui's still remebering the adventures I had with Tui!

Tiritiri Matangi Trip and my stay at Jaedan's house!

Tui went to Tiritiri Matangi. Tui saw all his bird friends there. There was the takahe, bellbird, stitchbird, brown teal, brown quail, silver eye and a lot more. Then Tui had lunch. Tui got to look at the lighthouse, then Tui went on the ferry. He got to go up the very top of the ferry. It was very windy up there. The ferry ride was 30 mins long. After the fairy ride Tui went on the bus. On the bus everyone was singing songs from the radio and the bus ride took 30 mins as well. Tui got off the bus and we got to go home. Tui and I got to go to Ben's house. Ben and I got changed into our rugby clothes and Tui, Ben and I went to rugby training. After rugby, Tui, Ben and I went back to Ben’s house. Ben and I got changed into our basketball gear and we all went to basketball. We won our game 19-1 and then went home, had dinner and went to bed. Tui was exhausted.

Wow I've heard that Room 12 has just had a great week of adventures and fun. I wish I could have been there. But I have been very busy finding as much information as I can to help you with your topic. I wonder if you met any of my family when you where at Tree Adventures? I know they love to hang out in the tree's and watch all the humans challenging themselves.

Explain to me what activity challenged you the most. Remember to include why.

T____ the Tui will come on all of our class trips and also even visit some of us at home over the weekends.

Wow, what a great weekend I had with Miss Lilley, Jason and her friends. This was how I became free and part of Room 12. Miss Lilley was out shopping, apparently she does this often and I saw this lovely lady walk into the shop. She was with her friends Mel and Jason. They walked around for a while and eventually came up to me and some of my friends. I was so lucky she picked me up and thought I was just gorgeous.

I heard her say to Mel, that I would be a great mascot for her awesome class. I got super excited thinking about what my life would be like being part of a classroom. Apparently they are supposed to be visiting Tiritiri Matangi. I might get to meet some of my family members if I could go. She then picked up my friend Kim the Kakapo. She asked Jason if she could buy two of us and he said, "I think you should just get one today!"

Miss Lilley decided she couldn't resist my amazing bird call and thought it would be great to use in the classroom as her attention signal. She paid the salesman and off on my amazing adventure I went.

I got to visit the Waipu Museum and stay with Jason, Miss Lilley and their friends in a bach in Langs Beach. It was a rainy day but we still enjoyed just chilling out and going for a nice walk along the beach. I can't wait to meet Room 12. I wonder what they their names will be and if they'll like me?
